Spaghetti Dinner.  Our annual "Carb Feast Before Champs" will be held next Thursday, July 9th, 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the Beavercreek Church of the Nazarene.  Tickets go on sale this Friday, $8.00 per person.  Children 5 and under are free.  This event will be catered so it is extremely important that we have accurate headcount.  As a result, no tickets will be sold at the door.  The menu is as follows:  Spaghetti with meat sauce, Fettuccini Alfredo, Salad, Breadsticks, Dessert, Tea or Lemonade.  No tickets will be sold after 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8th.  Please contact Melisa Dotson at 426-9114 if you have any questions or would like to purchase tickets and are unable to make it to the pool. 
 

Embroid Me will be coming to the pool this Thursday, July 2nd AND Friday, July 3rd, from 9-10 a.m. only to take orders for Champ Shirts.  Payment is required at time of order!!  If you cannot be there to order, please contact Melissa Kramer at mkramer10@woh.rr.com before 5:00 p.m. Friday, July 3rd to get your order in.  No orders will be accepted after that time.  The cost of the shirts will be $12.00 for youth xs-xl and adult s-2xl.  Any size above adult 2xl will be $15.00.  Please note that the price of the shirt is the actual cost and does not reflect any mark-up.  Again, payment is required at time of order and no orders will be taken after Friday.  

 

The Idle Hour Swim Team is raising money for The Children's Medical Center of Dayton.  This is a volunteer effort with 100% of the swim-a-thon proceeds going directly to Children Medical Center on behalf of Ally Barnett, a 7 year old swim team member recently diagnosed with Leukemia.

Each swimmer will have a two hour period to attempt to complete as many laps(50 meters) as possible.  Swimmers will attempt to swim a certain number of laps for a price (i.e. 50 laps at 50 cents per lap = donation of $25.00) and/or a one time donation (i.e. $25.00).  Swimmers are encouraged to ask family members, friends, neighbors, etc. to help our team out with this cause.

Picture Day will be this Wednesday, June 17.  Team pictures will be taken at 9:00 am.  Individual pictures will be taken afterwards.  The basic Teammate is $14 and includes both the individual and team picture in one setting.  Payment is required at time of order.  Photos should be back before Championships.  The Rain Make-up Day for Team pictures is Friday, June 19.  

We have an Idle Hour Swim Team Box...easy to find...its been Bedazzled with Jewels.  In this box are folders for each swimmer.  Picture Forms are in the folders.  Please review the forms and have ready for Wednesday.
